Tammy Lu is an artist, illustrator and educator. She works at the intersection  of  drawing, fashion, and philosophy. Her current work  is an exploration of relationships between the body and clothes within their wider natural, scientific, social and intellectual environments.

Tammy has lectured in creative research methodology for fashion at the Arts University College at Bournemouth, led the University of Essex BA fashion design course, and taught Western cultural history at Providence University in Taiwan. Most recently she designed and delivered the course Animating Textiles: The Performative Impulse in Contemporary Fibre Art for drama and fine art students at the University of Saskatchewan. She is currently a Professional Affiliate in the Department of Art and Art History there.

Tammy is the book cover artist for the New Metaphysics series edited by Graham Harman and Bruno Latour at Open Humanities Press.
